My mom sent me this article. It's not too long and is probably stuff you're familiar with, but I can't help but feel that so many of the problems today associated with infertility are related to our altered food source. We must change this!! It's not easy..believe me, I'm far from being "there" yet. I keep telling Geof. that all I want is a little house with a big yard, chickens, my own garden, and a greenhouse. That's not too much to ask, right?
~a funny story that might kind of (?) relate: The other day I was at the grocery store buying, I'm sure, a genetically modified eggplant (I know, darn it!), the checker weighed it, looked at it oddly, and asked, "Is this eggplant?", to which I replied, "yeah, you should try it sometime, it's really good" (Geof. and kids don't agree on that statement). The checker gave me an incredulous look and said, "Oh no, I don't even like eggs."
"There are no eggs in eggplant, it's a vegetable", I responded. ha!
